Product Description

The LR D33 thermal overload relay is mainly used in AC 50/60Hz circuits to protect three - phase motors against overload, phase failure, and three - phase imbalance. It operates based on the principle that bimetallic strips bend when heated. When the motor is overloaded, the bimetallic strips deform, driving the mechanism to act, which changes the state of the contacts and then cuts off the control circuit to protect the motor. It has both manual and automatic reset functions. The setting current can be adjusted via a knob, and there is a test button to check whether the function is normal.
